The Crater City: Peltin

The Slum Part of Antrisica, Deabuterra

The slum area of Antrisica lies in the crater under the rest of the city. Peltin is mostly known for the mines which supplies the city with Laiter-crystals that keeps the upper part of Antrisica floating.

Leadership: The Council of Antrisica

The Council of Antrisica is conprised of 6-8 anonymous people. Only very few people know the identities of the council members.
Technically the Council is still the ruling faction in Peltin, but it is a mostly overlooked part of the city, and in practice other rules and laws are enforced in the crater-slums.

Citizens: Diverse

Unlike in the upper part of Antrisica, which is mostly inhabited by elfs, Peltin has a much more diverse crowd of inhabitants.

Prominent Places:

The Church
      Matilda was the first to lead the party to the church.
Later they found their way back there, where they were confronted by a drow mage who tried to kill them. As a part of this the drow used illusion-magic to show several people's heads on spikes, including Ayla's mother's.

The Mines
      The mines are where Peltin is mining the Laiter-crystals.
It is where Urn tried to sacrifice Matilda.
When one enterthe mines, the decent is very normal, but it becomes nearly impossible to leave and people get sick trying to leave, and they become stuck in the mines, because they can't survive the ascend.
Everyone was healed and escaped the mines when the party carried Matilda out from underground.
The Carnivores inhabit the mines. (for more see: Bestiary - Carnivores)

Ravenlaught
      The guild Ravenlaught is located in the sewersystem under Peltin.

Prominent People:

Matilda
      Appearance: Bg blueish/green eyes, blonde hair, bushy eyebrows, big fronth teeth with a gap, 5 feet tall, appox 12 years old.
Has exraordinary healing abilities.
Is a "kindred spirit" (for more see: Bestiary - Kindred Spirits)
Big potential source of inexpendable energy that coul potentially keep Antrisica floating forever.
According to Urn she is connected to "other worlds"
According to Urn she is "Destined to die 'in the right way'" to prevent Antrisica from falling down on Peltin.
Matilda was apparently born in the mines.

Urn
      Appearance: Scarred face, tall, stone like skin, halv celestial, is over 1000 years old.
He comes from the mines, he was awakened when Antrisica was raised from the earth.
He is the twin brother to Caligor (for more see: Galendom)
Was turned to stone by his brother
He has an elf mother and a celestial father, and Urn lived with his mother.
Urn was heavily his fathers favorite, and "more" celestial than Caligor.
Urn has a shadow creature that follows him around (for more see: Bestiary - Fiend)
He is possibly a wizard, from something that Alex told them at their second visit at the hospital.

Alex
      Appearance: grey skin, dark hair with red streaks, red eyes, changes gender at will.
is a fiend bonded to Urn. (for more see: Bestiary - Fiend)
He offered their party a contract, he got beans instead.
